Understated beauty.
Redshape e Detroit, sunet analog, masca, istorie, valori… tot discursul.
Text in romana aici pentru a sublinia importanta acestui post. S-a subliniat.
Slow rage. Drone.
Ben Frost – Híbakúsja

“Ben Frost’s stunning performance from Unsound Krakow 2008, in St Katherine’s, a 16th century Gothic church. The recording was made from the audience seating area, rather than via the mixing desk, to capture a sense of the church’s massive interior and acoustics.” Unsound
it’s something about the tracklist that just makes you wanna play. Pentru intreaga bibliografie vezi Beats In Space.
“Three strands of sound have dominated the UK for the last few years: the paradoxical retro-futurist real-world mythologies of the Ghost Box label with related (Broadcast) and parallel travellers (Moon Wiring Club, Position Normal); the bass-virus mutations of Hyperdub, whose possessed meat-puppet Kode9 still invokes London as the point of infection despite the label’s astonishing international roster of artists; and by infinite loops, the strangest of this trinity, the warped and confusing secrets and lies of Mordant Music, a label that have been responsible for some of the strangest, most innovative and downright beautiful music of the last few years.” jonny mugwump
Move D & Benjamin Brunn – In The Beginning
Sven Tasnadi – Winter
“The Smallville collective has injected a real breath of fresh air into the house music scene. After launching their record shop in Hamburg city in 2005 they invited the most sophisticated artists of the european and american underground scene- such as Jus- Ed, Keith Worthy, Shinedoe, Sleeparchive, Omar S, Baby Ford & Thomas Melchior and many more to play at Hamburg’s love-spreading Allnighters. The Smallville Label, founded in 2006, is now set to release their first CD Compialtion “And Suddenly It’s Morning”, that comes up with an incredible tracklist. The CD and four 12inches feature alltime favorite artists Lowtec, Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search, STL, Sven Tasnadi, Move D & Benjamin Brunn plus rainy city’s newcomers Christopher Rau, Jacques Bon and Dionne- and of course Labelbosses Julius Steinhoff and Lawrence themselves.” wordandsound
