“When Vice UK asked for a submission, I knew I had to share the sound that can only be found right here in my home state of Texas. I am fortunate to live in a place where so many of my peers are creating the kind of music I love. When most kids are worrying about how the grass is greener elsewhere, these bands are working hard to make where they are where they want to be. This mix is made up of current Texas synth-based projects and covers many genres, from industrial EBM to techno, leftfield disco to electro, deep house to minimal wave and even a little screwgaze for good measure.

“Trecerea spre setul lui Bogdan se face unduitor de parfumat, surprinzător, agale, neaşteptat de în urcare. Bogdan își exersează cel mai bun set.ro din 2010 şi îl expune în cel mai viu mod cu putinţă. Tot timpul câte 3 piese zvârcolindu-se hipnotic, two tracks vs. loop, forever 3 deckuri on, melanjuri bombastice cu viori Arvo Pärt pe beat electro drogat, Boys Noize – “Yeah”, nu disco, Ellen Allien & Apparat – “Jet”, house clasic, curcubeu, din om neom până la Mândru Soare şi-napoi. “Ruşinos că încă cu Macul după el!”, îmi şoptește sceptic cineva în ureche. Io cred că e mega preocupat acolo already, prietene. Las-o mai moale cu remarci din porumb. Şi-n plus, nu sunt ochelaristul studios atent la cât de roz-bombon sau mov deschis erau clapele pe care apăsa. Ia-ţi cu susan dacă nu-ţi place!… Prefer senzaţiile, legăturile făcute cu graţie, coerenţa care face să-ţi ţâşnească bucuria din pustiu înapoi în inimă precum sângele din venă în eprubetă.
