“Zimoun creeaza instalatii si sculpturi sonore care exploreaza conexiunea dintre elemente mecanice, miscare si sunete generate fizic. Instalatiile lui, adevarate simfonii mecanice, au la baza estetica simplitatii si a repetitiei, lasand loc pentru diverse neregularitati cauzate de rutina si coincidenta.

La invitatia MNAC si Rokolectiv, Zimoun prezinta la Bucuresti o noua instalatie in colaborare cu arhitectul elvetian Hannes Zweifel. Cei doi sunt interesati de proprietatile materialelor brute in spatiu. Structura lor arhitectonica construita din materiale de carton functioneaza ca un corp sonor activat printr -un numar mare de motoare alimentate la curent continuu, care devin astfel generatoare de sunet.”
