Maqio speaking: Pentru mixul de fata am ales piese care mi-au placut foarte mult in ultimii ani, dar care trebuiau sa respecte stilul si atmosfera ce se conturau pe masura ce playlist-ul devenea mai stufos. Coincidenta face ca majoritatea pieselor sa provina dintr-o mana de compilatii de la label-uri precum Dial, Net28 sau Watergate. Tot intamplarea face ca in final, mixul sa reprezinte foarte bine estetica unui colectiv din care fac parte, numit Inhere (tradus “a salasui in”, “a fi intrinsec”), care abordeaza stiluri muzicale de la deep house pana la dub techno.

Tony Rohr – Oddlantik Avenue

The album will be Rohr’s first in five years, following his 2006 debut Tony Rohr Loves You All. Over his more than decade-long career, the Brooklyn-based artist has developed an eerie, futuristic sound that’s been described as Voodoo techno, and Oddlantik Avenue is no exception: much like his singles for Clink, Drumcode and Plus 8 Recordings, the record is heavy on serious 4/4 club tracks with a vaguely sci-fi-inspired vibe. The album comes out next month on H Productions, the Swedish imprint run by Cari Lekebusch on which Rohr debuted last year. All of the tracks are previously unreleased.

The Model @ Acrobax Project, Roma

The Model: Petrecere de zile mari, alaturi de Snuff Crew si colectivul Truckstop76th din Roma, intr-o hala faimoasa langa stadionul unde una dintre echipele de rugby de prima mana a Romei isi desfasoara antrenamentele – Acrobax Project. Full house si voie buna la 10 grade in plus fata de Bucuresti!
Am urcat pe scena la 3 si ceva, dupa un set live al celor de la Snuff Crew, cu un set big room excita(n)t si colorat de 80 de min, in care am strecurat 3 piese de pe noul album ce-l voi lansa anul asta, dar si remixul facut ptr Snuff Crew care va iesi la labelul Truckstopth76 pe vinil in foarte curand!
Setul contine atat clasice din 1999, cat si the latest stuff si unreleased goodies primite de la artisti prieteni around the world around the world. Trei dintre piese le puteti auzi chiar in mai multe dintre seturile mele, intrucat nu ma pot desparti de ele!
In audienta m-am bucurat de prezenta unor personalitati, cum ar fi mama unui prieten foarte bun din Iasi, Elvys, si a nu mai putin bunului meu prieten din Tarnaveni – Lari!
