It’s almost indescribably good, this band, and their little bite of a four-song tour EP In Tension. Buzzy FM synths and tectonic beats. Apostolic organs ascending, noise screeching, the back and forth of Funchess’ voice caterwauling all manic with suggestion: “The prince of peace doesn’t have to know about it.” Good in the way you feel, you know; the hot pulse of it sucks thought straight outta your head. “A Certain Someone” comes in sweet and major—the only pastel-hued track of the bunch—and yields to the midnight mass of “Dark Allies”, the electro-punk pogo of “Knights and Weekends” (think Joy Division’s “Digital” if it actually were), “Skull Fuct” and its final darkwave yelp. The whole thing may be only 20 minutes—but it’s an intense 20 minutes.
Logan: Proclaiming nothing of significant importance other than “We’re Here, Let’s Party!”, Haules Baules would like to share two tracks from it’s virgin vinyl offering.
“Nari” sees Haules Baules in sub 120bpm dub disco territory whilst “Argo” does it’s best in joining the dots between Detroit techno and deep house. The label is set to become a vehicle for my own tracks with some pretty special remixers lined up to take the originals into even deeper sonic territory.
Born Klaus Sperber in Essen, Germany, Nomi dressed like an alien, sang like an angel, and electrified new wave-era New York. The classically trained tenor moved to the US in the 1970s. Influenced by Maria Callas, Marlene Dietrich, and 1950s sci-fi films, the “opera-singing pastry chef,” as writer Glenn O’Brien described him, developed a unique look and sound that stood apart from every other act to emerge from the East Village. At the height of his fame, he caught the eye of David Bowie, with whom he performed on Saturday Night Live in 1979. Unfortunately, his AIDS-related death in 1983 curtailed any chance to reach a wider audience.

Incepand cu 2006, am acordat mai multa atentie sunetului si am introdus in muzica mea elemente de idm, d’n’b, electronica, experimental, glich, dubstep etc. Acum ma definesc prin sunete, iar ceea ce compun e o descriere in note a viziunii mele despre lume, trairi, viata.
