Demdike Stare

Demdike Stare este un proiect format din MLZ de la labelul Modern Love (Miles Whittaker) si Sean Canty (“dedicated digger behind the Haxan events and a member of the hugely respected Finders Keepers crew of vinyl vultures”, coleg cu Andy Votel of Camil fame). Chestionabil a scris despre ei aici vara trecuta cand au introdus primul album al trupei, Symbiosis, un alt album care te face sa iti para rau ca ai incercat sa faci o lista de best of 2009 numai ca sa o calci in picioare a doua zi, Symbiosis merita sa fie acolo.

Demdike Stare revin in ianuarie cu un release, Osmosis, sub forma unui set (fara tracklist) cu tot ce au gasit (si au cautat ceva) mai bun si mai rar: radiofonic disco, obscure library records, space jazz, odd electronica, soundtrack-uri direct de pe VHS dar toate legate intr-un ansamblu cinematic foarte armonios. Il gasiti dupa more. Pana atunci un set aparut cu putin inainte, pe aceeasi zona si poate chiar mai impresionant: Moving Metals. Hauntology extravaganza.
